Kalleske Greenock Shiraz
Tonight's 2002 Kalleske Greenock Shiraz was CORKED. Screw cap is an option, but another one, favoured by me for red wine, is to develop very close ties to cork suppliers and understand their strategies for faultless cork production.
I am a very interested amateur wine taster and drinker. I have collected wine since 1983 and hold a 1500 bottle wine collection of mainly red Australian wine, but also some wine from France, Italy and other countries. You can contact me on firstname.lastname@example.org.
I score each wine out of 100 points, similar to many other reviewers. This score reflects my perceived objective assessment of the quality of the wine, its purity of fruit, complexity, elegance, structure, length of expression etc. The second score is an amendment, depending on how I personally like the wine: up to three + for a wine I like very much, and three - for a wine I don't like. The +/- score may correlate with the numeric score, but not necessarily so.
