Otherwise, after the recession we did not have to have, I wish everyone a most successful and enjoyable start to the new decade. I will drink to that!

Hi Baz, Chris from Australian Wine Journal here, can I spend next Chrissie with you? ....;)
There are wine drinkers but no serious drinkers in my family (other than myself?) so our wine list was a much more humble one! I tend to give out the nice wine as prezzies and let the oldies handle the wine consumed on the day.
Other than the first wine on this list (which I rushed home to get as an accompaniment to oysters natural) I chose none of the wines on this list - it was all either my dad's or my partner's dad's choices.
The wines were:-
Jansz NV
Yellowglen Yellow
Wolf Blass Red Label Bubbles
Houghton White Classic 2008
Coldstream Hills Sauvignon Blanc 2007
Orlando St Helga Riesling 1988
Wolf Blass Yellow Label Merlot 2008
Annie's Lane Cabernet Merlot 2008
Wynns Shiraz 2008
Rest assured the Wynns Shiraz was a welcomed sight! ;)
Season's greetings,
Chris P
