Qualification
Scoring system
I score each wine out of 100 points, similar to many other reviewers. This score reflects my perceived objective assessment of the quality of the wine, its purity of fruit, complexity, elegance, structure, length of expression etc. The second score is an amendment, depending on how I personally like the wine: up to three + for a wine I like very much, and three - for a wine I don't like. The +/- score may correlate with the numeric score, but not necessarily so.

Congratulations - that is quite the achievement! I have been thinking myself about writing about the Mornington Peninsula and I know how much time and effort that it will take to do well. I look forward to reading your insights on the Barossa.
Thank you, Sean. I would encourage you to do it. Yes, it takes time, but for somebody who likes wine, it is a lot of fun. I got to know some of the winemakers quite well and had some unique tastings, as you can imagine. It is also high time, individual regions are getting detailed attention.
