Yelland & Papps Grenache Rose
What else would you drink but Rose in these conditions? This young 2010 Yelland & Papps Grenache Rose tastes attractively of raspberry, quite fruity, but not too sweet. It is an easy drinking style, fairly lean and with a dry finish.
I am a very interested amateur wine taster and drinker. I have collected wine since 1983 and hold a 1500 bottle wine collection of mainly red Australian wine, but also some wine from France, Italy and other countries. You can contact me on tgirgens@bigpond.net.au.
I score each wine out of 100 points, similar to many other reviewers. This score reflects my perceived objective assessment of the quality of the wine, its purity of fruit, complexity, elegance, structure, length of expression etc. The second score is an amendment, depending on how I personally like the wine: up to three + for a wine I like very much, and three - for a wine I don't like. The +/- score may correlate with the numeric score, but not necessarily so.
