I was actually toying with the idea of throwing the Clonakilla in, but then the Viognier gives the wine a floral flavour, which is different from pure Shiraz.
Maybe I will do some more categories and in the end have a 'best of best'. I am sure the Clonakilla would be in that.

ReplyDeleteI'm just gonna tick Mt Edelstone on the strength of the 02, 04, 05 (not exceptional wine but exceptional considering the vintage) and 06 releases.
I could've easily swayed towards the likes of St Peters, Bin 0, Moonambel, Dead Arm, Stonewell or Wendouree, but what the hey?!
I would've been very interested to see how it would've polled had you chucked Clonakilla's Shhi/Vio in there.
