The
2008 Woodcutters Red Shiraz has very bright redcurrant fruit. It tastes young and fresh, but with quite a good mouthfeel. The wine is not complex, but is well made and its fruity character is supported by reasonable length of flavour. This is a good effort from another challenging vintage in the Barossa.
